Located on the 40,000-square-foot facade of Frontier’s data center in downtown Hartford, this groundbreaking initiative transforms an unassuming urban wall into a dynamic digital canvas that showcases the power of art, technology, and community.

Featuring over 150 artists from 20+ countries, including submissions from local youth, international creators, and students with special needs, the Magic Mural Art Wall highlights the diversity and talent of artists across all demographics. The project brings together vibrant still images, digital animations, and video art, captivating viewers and creating an unparalleled cultural experience.

Visible to thousands of pedestrians, commuters, and art enthusiasts, the Magic Mural Art Wall is not just a spectacle but a beacon of innovation, inclusion, and inspiration in Hartford. Executive Director

Matt Conway

With an MBA and extensive experience in finance, project management, and strategy, Matt has successfully managed over 200 public art projects statewide, showcasing his prowess in leading large-scale, multimillion-dollar initiatives. Matt’s strategic vision and commitment to utilizing public art as a tool for social change has transformed community landscapes, making art accessible and fostering a sense of belonging and cultural enrichment.

Creative Director

Ryan Glista

A UConn professor and alumnus with a BA in Film and an MFA in Digital Media and Design, Ryan is an Emmy and Telly award-winning filmmaker and digital artist. He is known for directing and curating immersive video installations at The Bushnell Center for Performing Arts and around CT. His technical expertise and creative vision at the intersection of fine art, performance and digital art are pivotal in crafting the Magic Murals project.

Curator and Choreographer

Carolyn Paine

A multi-talented theatrical producer, actress, dancer, and choreographer, Carolyn has created and appeared in various immersive digital experiences at The Bushnell, TV shows, national commercials, and Off-Broadway theatre productions. She has been producing dance shows at The Wadsworth Atheneum for 15 years, been recognized at various international film festivals and publications, and regularly appears on WNPR’s The Nose with Colin McEnroe. She holds a BA in Theatre from the University of Hartford,

Producer and Dancer

Taris 'Pop' Clemons

A professional dancer & muralist for over a decade, Taris combines his skills in breakdance, graffiti art and graphic design in large-scale projects all over Connecticut. One of the most well known performers and educators of Hip-Hop Dance in the New England area, Taris has curated major dance events sponsored by Red Bull, served as a judge and a coach and organized several events at the International Hip-Hop Fest.

Eric Ben-Kiki

Eric’s 25-year history of curating and producing Connecticut exhibits showcasing regional and national artists led to the founding of his own EBK Gallery in Hartford, CT. He has designed and installed exhibits for the Wadsworth Atheneum and the University of Hartford’s Joseloff Gallery, managed Trinity College’s art collection, and serves as a board member of the Hartford Art School the Connecticut Forum.

Digital Designer

Jacob Rodier

An experienced director, cinematographer, editor, and visual effects artist from Connecticut. Jacob focuses on directing music videos with an emphasis on surrealist and cinematic visuals. He has won several awards for his narrative and music video work.
