COMMERCIAL MURALS

Northeast CT Public Art can help turn a wall inside or outside your business into a focal point that turns heads and attracts customers. Murals are also a great way to prevent vandalism and graffiti on the outside of your building while creating something beautiful. We support the design, permitting, execution, and marketing of the mural for your business. For RiseUP, projects are more than murals, they are productions.

PUBLIC ART/COMMUNITY MURAL PROJECTS

Northeast CT Murals supports nonprofits, community groups, cities, and towns to organize large-scale public art projects throughout their community. Public Art and murals are critical to bringing positivity to a neighborhood and it can change the way people perceive a particular community.

Donations to RiseUP's public art projects are Tax-Deductible through our 501(c)3 non-profit partner, The RiseUP Group, Inc.

INDIVIDUAL MURAL COMMISSIONS

Northeast CT Public Art artists are available for individual commission projects for you or your family. Our artists have a wide range of techniques and styles that can be customized to your project need. Whether it is your daughter's bedroom that can be turned into a Princess Wonderland or having a pair of sneakers customized with an original design, we can make it happen.

CALL-TO-ARTISTS

We are seeking applications from professional artists and emerging artists to match with public art and commercial art, paid opportunities. Artists must complete an initial pre-screening application and will be invited to projects on a rolling basis as projects come to fruition.

You do not need to have completed any murals to participate. We are looking for trained and untrained mural artists. Both will have the ability to express their vision and our goal is to empower and train a new group of muralists.  Applicants may be offered a Lead Muralist role or an Apprentice Muralist role, based on experience and project requirements.

It may be an expectation of the artist to engage the community in the painting process and include 1 or 2 local apprentice artists as part of the project. Apprentice are paid as well.
